I recieved a pleasent email from a local student who wanted some help with a project about HANDSWORTH! So who knows this area better than the local residents.

The aim is simple:

 Participants living in Handsworth or who know the area of Handsworth (of any background or ethnicity) are wanted to discuss what life is like in the area.

If you are willing to participate in an interview discussing the community of Handsworth, contact Amila Broom.

New Handsworth Heritage Trail Launched Today

Today its the offical launch of the new Handsworth Heritage Trail leaflet at Soho House. Cllr Paulette Hamilton, Cllr Hussain and Adnan Saif from Urban Living our kindly attending to help launch the trail. We are delighted that a number of people involved in the project are attending as well as some of the people from some of the featured sites.

We hope to get people out to have a taster of the walk. Shame that the lovely sun which was out earlier has gone away!

Heart of Birmingham Teaching Primary Care Trust ofer a Patient Advice & Liason Service. This service is for patients, their families and carers when they have a query,  complaint, or wish to pass on a compliment and say thank you for the service they have received.

Handsworth Old Town Hall in the Snow
