·        Meet ‘Local Heroes’ Matthew Boulton, James Watt  and Erasmus Darwin as they gather for an entertaining Lunar Society meeting
·        Working traction engine in steam
·        Working steam model engines displays from Birmingham Society of Model Engineers
·        Ride on a model steam railway in the garden
·        Roof tours- bookable on the day

Around the World Arts & Crafts – drop-in family craft activities every day throughout the school holidays.

Tuesday 1st June
Make your own Aboriginal Dot Art painting and fill in the dots to make your own design or decorate an Australian animal.

Wednesday 2nd June
African mask making. Decorate your tribal mask and wear it home.

Thursday 3rd June
Dancing Dragons. Make a dancing dragon puppet from China.

Friday 4th June
Make a Native American totem pole and decorate with animal shapes.
