Faith Act’s Birmingham are based at the Nishkam Centre on Soho Rd and have  recently been nominated for an award for the Pride in Handsworth Awards 2010. They have been successful in being selected by the judges as part of the shortlisting for the Living in Faith Award. Faiths Act will attend the evening on the 13th May to find out if they have won.

There are some great stories and photographs on the Tony Blair Faith Foundation blog that Sean & Pritpal from Faiths Act have updated. It highlights the important work they are doing about poverty and the impact that this has on millions of people worldwide. It is great too see that they recently attend the Vaisakhi Mela Festival in Handsworth Park to get this message out in the local community.
